Adult Classes + Tournaments

We offer a variety of Adult programs ranging from Yoga and Pilates classes to Pickleball. Please check back frequently to see what is currently being offered. 

Registered Programs

Gentle Balance & Strength

This easy-to-follow class for adults will include a combination of Tai Chi, Yoga, core and back strengthening exercises. Designed for all fitness levels, this class will help increase confidence and improve balance, strength, core stability and flexibility. We will end the class with some meditation and breathing exercises, sending you home feeling renewed and relaxed!

Gentle Stretch & Tone Yoga

This one is for seniors, or anyone else who wants to use gentle movement to gain strength, flexibility and balance. We will take simple movements that will help strengthen your bones and muscles and mix in some gentle stretches that will help you keep the flexibility that you do have and maybe give you a little bit more.

Restorative
Yin 
Yoga

The focus of a Yin class is on stretching the connective tissues between your muscles and organs. Props are used to help your body surrender into postures and then hold them for longer periods of time. Most people find this class relaxing yet very effective.

Gentle Vinyasa Flow Yoga

In this Gentle Vinyasa Flow yoga class you can expect to increase your flexibility and strengthen your core while releasing stress in the mind and body. Suitable for all levels.

Intermediate

Tai Chi

Deepening the mind-body connection, relaxation, improved overall health and decreased stress are some of the health benefits gained from the practice of Tai Chi. Other areas that have seen improvement are reducing bone loss, lower body strength, helping with arthritis, decreased blood pressure, balance and stability. Tai Chi is also used with patients with Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, MS and many other conditions. Instructor: Denis Greve​​​​​

Zumba Gold

for Seniors

Zumba Gold is perfect for active older adults or those who are looking for a modified Zumba® class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower-intensity. This class will include easy to follow Zumba choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion, and coordination. An energizing dance fitness class featuring Latin, North American Top 40 and international music. This class will be easy to follow so it’s perfect for beginners! Already a Zumba pro!? You’ll love this class too as there are always options offered throughout class to up the intensity! Come join the party for an exhilarating, effective, and FUN workout!

Kickboxing

An energetic and dynamic workout that combines choreographed kickboxing routines with cardio and bodyweight exercises, all set to an upbeat and motivational music playlist. This will be a no contact class where no equipment is needed.

Pickleball Lessons

Learn To Play

New to pickleball and want to learn the basics? This class will provide instruction in basic game play, scoring, rules, position and strategy. Each class will provide instruction and time for game play with other beginners. Intended for brand new players with less than 6 months experience. Paddle rental included in registration fee.

Beginner

These lessons are intended for players new to Pickleball and/or those who have recently attended the "Learn to Play" sessions. Upon completion of these lessons, you will have a solid foundation to start your Pickleball journey. You will learn proper shot techniques and shot selection, correct court positioning and movement and understand basic Pickleball rules.​​​​​​

Novice

Novice level lessons are intended for players who have been playing at least 6 months and less than 2 years, or have achieved a rating level of 2.0. Instruction will be provided in footwork, positioning, groundstrokes, punch volleys, service and return of serve, 3rd shot drop, lobs and smashes.

Intermediate

Intermediate level lessons are intended for players who have been playing more than 2 years, and/or have achieved a rating level of 2.5 to 3.0. Instruction will be provided in dinking with variation, offensive and defensive at the NVZ, drop shots, drive shots, blocking and touch shots, offensive and defensive lobs, returning the lob, advanced strategies, switching and stacking.

Advanced

These lessons are for people who have achieved a 3.25-3.5 skill level.

You will learn:

 

  • Emphasis on Team Coordination: This session highlights the significance of functioning as a unified team. You will discover how to communicate efficiently with your partner during games.

  • Tactical Shot Choices: Grasping the appropriate moments for different shots is essential. We will discuss when to utilize drives, drops, and lobs for optimal impact.

  • Game Tactics: Explore various tactics to outwit your rivals. Positioning, angles, and predicting your opponent's actions will be critical elements of our training.

Play with the Coach

This unique opportunity to play with your coach offers focused skill development, as the sessions are tailored to improve specific skills essential for your game. You’ll work closely with your coach, who will guide you on understanding your position on the court, which is crucial for navigating different game scenarios. Additionally, you will learn effective shot selection strategies, enabling you to make better decisions during matches. Take advantage of this opportunity to elevate your pickleball game to the next level.​​

Improvement

These classes will be largely participant driven, allowing for player questions and specific interest to determine class content. Some of the aspects that will be covered include serving, positional play, spins and rules.

Pickleball Tournament

Saturday, May 31st 2025 | $40 Per Person

​

These are recreational tournaments intended to provide the opportunity for players of all levels to gain experience and have fun playing a mix of other players. The registration fee is per person and includes a prize for the top 3 teams in each division. Light snacks will be provided. A partner is required, and their full name must be provided at the time of registration. 5 round robin games are guaranteed (additional playoff games for qualified teams). Both partners are required to register separately. Prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place. Registration fee: $40 per person.
